Processing Purposes

CityD-WES NV collects and processes the personal data of (potential) customers for customer acquisition, customer and order management (including but not limited to customer administration, following up on orders/deliveries, invoicing, solvency monitoring, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).

Legal Basis/Bases of Processing

Personal data is processed based on Article 6. 1. (a) consent, (b) necessity for the execution of an agreement, (c) necessity to comply with a legal obligation, (f) necessity for the representation of our legitimate interest in undertaking the General Data Protection Regulation. Insofar as the processing of the personal data takes place based on Article 6.1. (a) (consent), the customer always has the right to withdraw the given consent.

Transfer to Third Parties

If this is necessary to achieve the intended purposes, the customer’s personal data will be shared with other firms and companies within the European Economic Area that are directly or indirectly associated with CityD-WES NV or any other partner of CityD-WES NV. CityD-WES NV guarantees that these recipients will take the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect personal data.

Retention Period

The personal data processed for customer management will be kept for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (such as in the field of accounting).

Right of Access, Correction, Erasure, Restriction, Objection and the Portability of Personal Data

The customer has the right to inspect his or her personal data at any time and can have it corrected if it is incorrect or incomplete, have it removed, its processing limited and object to the processing of any personal data concerning him or her based on Article 6. 1 (e) or (f) of the GDPR, using profiling based on those provisions. In addition, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable form) of his or her personal data and have the data forwarded to another company. 

In order to exercise the above rights, the customer is asked to:

adjust the settings of his customer account him or herself; and/or to send an e-mail to the following e-mail address: info@cityd-wes.be; identify him or herself adequately and legally in his or her application.

Direct Marketing

The customer has the right to object to any processing of his or her personal data for the purpose of direct marketing free of charge.

Complaints

The customer has the right to file a complaint with the Commission for the Protection of Privacy (Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, Belgium – commission@privacycommission.be). 

The Use of Cookies
